Samoa's Prime Minister, Tuila'epa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi, has officially opened the last two facilities of the 33 sporting venues for the up-coming South Pacific games to be held in Apia next month.

The netball gymnasium and the lawn bowling venue were opened yesterday with the prime minister dismissing criticisms that the venues would not be completed in times for the games.

Tuila'epa says athletes can now start to use the facilities for trainings ahead of six weeks before the games will be officially opened in August 25th.
