The former Chief Executive Officer, Solomon Airlines Joseph Anea, has denied accusations by the government that he mismanaged the airline.

The Finance and Treasury Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo has said he had terminated Mr Anea's employment based on the mismanagement of the company's finances and assets.

But, Mr Anea told the Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation, the accusations are false and misleading.

Mr Anea says he welcomes the Minister's concern towards the airline.
