Samoas Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele, has urged the Manu Samoa team for the World Cup that they must believe that they can win.

At a national farewell for the team yesterday , the Prime Minister, who is chairman of the Samoa Rugby Football Union said they they must show discipline on and off the field

at all times.

And they must remember that their worst enemy was themselves.

Prayers and speeches at the farewell likened the Manu Samoa team to David battling Goliath.

Manu Samoa coach La'auli Michael Jones said David slew Goliath and there's no reason why Manu Samoa can't do the same.

He said with Samoan blood being the Manu Samoa's sling and rock, they can achieve the impossible.

The team leaves the country tomorrow.
