SPG chairman denies diarrhoea outbreak in Samoa

The chairman of the South Pacific Games, Faumuina Liuga, denies there has been a diarrhoea outbreak at the athletes' village in Apia, Samoa.

He says food hygiene is a priority and food is deemed safe before it is given to the more than five thousand athletes of the two week event.

A Fijian athlete alleged he suffered from diarrhoea at the SPG village.
