Fiji Gas has invested $5million to expand its terminals at the Wailada Industrial and in Lautoka.

Two 250-tonne tanks were commissioned in a ceremony in Suva yesterday while the other three in Lautoka will be commissioned later his month.

Fiji Gas Chief executive Officer Harvie Probert told the Fiji Times that although the tanks arrived in August last year, the construction of the tanks' foundations and other formalities took some time.

Fiji Gas supplies liquefier petroleum gas and LPG powered appliances and equipment for commerce, industry and domestic use.

Mr Probert said the investment at Wailada and Lautoka would position the company for future growth.
