Fiji's military has warned the deposed prime minister, Laisenia Qarase, and members of his SDL party that it will not tolerate any incitement.

The military spokesman, Lt Col Mosese Tikoitoga, has told Fiji TV that now that the Public Emergency Regulations are back in place, Laisenia Qarase should be careful in his public statements.

He says if there is a threat to the security and stability of the nation, the Public Emergency Regulations would be against Laisenia Qarase and like minded people.

Lt Col Tikoitoga says that Laisenia Qarase should watch his back because if he steps out of line under the emergency regulations, he will be taken in and questioned over his incitement agenda.
