3:27 pm on 20 September 2007

American Samoa's Governor Togiola Tulafono will lead a delegation to Samoa tomorrow for talks in the capital.

The annual inter-Samoa meeting is scheduled to run from Friday until Sunday and will be held at the Development Bank Building in the heart of Apia.

Governor Togiola says the meeting of the two governments is a chance to review progress, raise and discuss issues of mutual interest and concern between the Samoas.

He says it's always productive to get together with Samoa's Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi and that collaborative efforts between the governments will benefit them and their respective citizens.
