The American Samoa governor Togiola Tulafono says the success of the 13th South Pacific Games hosted by Samoa has raised the bar on how they should prepare for the Pacific Arts Festival to be held next year.

Togiola says the Lt. Governor, Ipulasi Sunia, will be stepping down as chairman for the group.

The Samoa News quotes Ipulasi Sunia as saying that this is best for everyone and he remains committed to the task force and will continue to serve as a member.

Leala Pili and Fagafaga Daniel Langkilde are now co-chairpersons for the task force to prepare the Arts Festival
