The All Whites coach Ricki Herbert says they can't afford to underestimate Fiji in what's shaping as a feisty world cup qualifying match in Auckland tomorrow.
With this week's visa issues, culminating in Fiji's number one goalkeeper being denied entry to New Zealand, tensions are likely to be running high.
But Herbert says the Fijians have also had time together recently, winning the silver medal at the South Pacific Games, and with FIFA pouring money into the region their game is on the rise.
"They've come out of the South Pacific Games where they've had lots of time together. And I think what people may not know is that the academies over in the Island countries are better. The training facilities are really good and the times they have their players together are lengthy."
