The co-chair of the organising commitee for the 2008 Festival of Pacific Arts in American Samoa, Fagafaga Daniel Langkilde, says preparations for the biggest gathering that the territory will host are on track.
The two-week festival is set to open on July the 20th.
Fagafaga has been seeking sponsorship from companies in the region and visited New Zealand to that end.
"Whether they be products or services that they sell, not only in American Samoa but also throughout the Pacific because with the gathering of the all the Pacific peoples during the festival that would be the appeal to have their bransds exposed to all these people who would be here."
