Real estate, tourism and exporting organic oils are among the interests of a group of New Zealand based Pacific Island businesspeople who are in Samoa and Tonga this week to seek out new markets.

The group is led by the Pacific Islands Trade and Investment Commission, or PITIC.

One of the entrepreneurs, Rebecca Leaulu, who is a real estate sales consultant , says she is interested in investing more into Samoan real estate.

"I own properties both here and in New Zealand and now, on this trip I am coming to look for clients and looking at some special projects and developments. This has been a wonderful opportunity with the people we are with."

Rebecca Leaulu says her interest includes tourism development.
