New mobile service to be launched in Fiji today

5:36 am on 14 November 2007

A new mobile phone service will be launched today to serve the Fiji market.

InkMobile Australia will offer packages in which customers will pay only for the actual number of seconds used instead of 30 second units.

Fiji TV reports that InkMobile has teamed up with the until now monopoly provider Vodaphone Fiji, to use its unbranded network services to reach its customers.

It has also signed up with a large local distribution company C.J. Patel, to act as its distribution partner in Fiji.
