Netball Fiji president Alice Tabete, is still somewhere in New Zealand and didn't arrive home as expected with the national team in Nadi this morning.
Tabete is under investigation with the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) for alleged abuse of office during her appointment as CEO with the Fiji Sports Council.
FICAC while refusing to make a comment this morning, had said ealier that they had completed their investigation and had told Tabete before she left for New Zealand that they plan to lay charges on her return.
Meanwhile, Tabete was granted a multiple visa which expires in 2010 to the world netball championships in Auckland despite her son being in the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
The New Zealand Immigration Department has rejected visa applications by those who had family members in the RFMF.
Fijian team player, Aliti Seru was replaced in the team to the WNC at the minute because her visa was withdrawn as her husband is a military officer.
