Polynesian resumes flights between two Samoas

2:30 pm on 21 November 2007

Polynesian Airlines has resumed flights between Samoa and American Samoa after a week of maintenance work on its Twin Otter aircraft.

However, inter-island flights by South Pacific Express which was due to resume operations between Pago Pago and Apia yesterday, are still down.

This is the third week that SPEX has not had any flights as there have been delays in the delivery of necessary parts.

The carrier says passengers who were booked on SPEX this week are being transferred to other airlines.
