Newly formed tropical cyclone, Daman, is lying about 112 kilometres east north-east from Rotuma, which is part of Fiji, and 434 kilometres north from Fiji's second largest island, Vanua Levu.
The cyclone is moving westwards at 15 knots, with winds at its centre at 35 knots or around 65 kilometres per hour.
