British couple appeals for free accommodation in Samoa

The Survival Foundation in Samoa has offered free accommodation to a British couple who is unable to leave because its passports are held by a rental car business claiming it didn't pay its bills.

This comes after the couple made an appeal to the public for free accommodation.

The PK car rental company in Savaii Island says the couple owes them money, but the couple has denied that.

The couple has filed a complaint to police claiming it is wrongly blamed for the payment of damages and rentals for a car it did not use.

The man and woman have reportedly contacted the British High Commission in New Zealand for assistance.
