Fiji's interim Attorney General has announced that a lawyer Suresh Chandra has been appointed the chairman of the Fiji Constituency Boundaries Commission.
The other members are Father Kevin Barr and former director of the Department of Lands Albert Queet.
The interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says Mr Chandra has worked in the Fiji Titles office, the Registrar of Lands office and the Lands Department in New Zealand.
His term will be for two years.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum says all appointments required for the 2009 general elections are complete apart from choosing a Supervisor of Elections.
Eight candidates have been short-listed and will be interviewed soon before the appointment is made next month.
