Kiribati police have arrested two men suspected to be involved in the murder of a 34 year old man last weekend.
Assistant superintendent, Katimaran Tewear, says the body was found without a head, and mutiple knife wounds.
He says the man was drinking in the capital Tarawa on Saturday, but it is not known what motive the killing may have.
"IN:......We have murder cases, but this one is very interesting because they cut off the head of the man and that's very strange because that's not a normal thing to happen here."

Katimaran Tewear says the men are yet to be formally charged.
