A rally is being held on Saipan today to show opposition to legislation federalizing of the CNMI's immigration system.
Gregorio Cruz, president of the Taotao Tano citizen group, one of the leaders of the rally says the overwhelming majority of CNMI residents are strongly against federalization, but they have not spoken out or made their views clear.
He told the Saipan Tribune that the event is an opportunity for all residents to join together against federalization without representation.
