Mobile phone users in Papua New Guinea still can't make calls to a different network, despite a government deadline elapsing last week.
Digicel say their network is connected to Telikom's, but they are still in a technical testing phase.
Both companies expect consumers to be able to phone people on the other network in the next few weeks, but they haven't yet agreed on how much that will cost.
The government has expressed disappointment that the interconnection wasn't available as it had directed.
