The Fiji Sugar Corporation has reported a loss of 9.6 million US dollars for the six months ending November 30, 2007.
The corporation also reported a significant decline in production for cane, sugar and molasses last year, compared to 2006.
The Fiji Live website reports that sugar exports to the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan also showed significant declines.
