The Oceania region forms a Golf Union

The Oceania region has a golf union.

The move followed a meeting of Pacific delegates from Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, American Samoa, Guam and the Marshalls Islands, with the Cook Islands and Fiji formally establishing the body.

The Union has also got the support of Australia and New Zealand.

The Union constitution was also accepted and a review of the eligibility clause for members in the French and US territories are to be refined so as not to bar their inputs and participation.
