Man in Fiji caught with fake Australia and NZ visas

Fiji Police is likely to charge a 26-year-old man for larceny and forgery after fake Australia and New Zealand visas were found in his possession.

Police spokesman, Corporal Josaia Weicavu, told Fijilive that they have discovered 30 passports out of which five have fake visas.

He says it will have to find the machine he used for the fake visas before charges are laid against the man.

Corporal Weicavu said the suspect has charged passport owners from 2000 to 40,000 dollars each for the visas.

He says 12 owners have been identified 12 owners and police are looking for the rest.
