Fiji man arrested for allegedly making false visas

A 26-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly making false visas.

Fiji Live online says the man, from Suva appears in a special court sitting today.

He has been charged with nine counts of forgery and 11 counts of obtaining money by false pretences.

Police say they arrested the man on Thursday after 30 passports, some with fake Australia and New Zealand visas, were allegedly found in his possession.

The man is alleged to have charged people thousands of dollars on the pretext of arranging migration visa to overseas countries.
