The secretariat behind the council in Fiji drawing up a People's Charter says it will be in place before the end of the year.
The Technical and Support Secretariat director, John Samy, has told the Fiji Times the meeting schedules for the working groups and the national task teams have been revised.
He says the existing timeline will see the Peoples Charter for Change, Peace and Progress finalised by October 2008.
Mr Samy said the council was fully committed to ensuring it completed its work within deadlines.
