In Fiji, police divers have located the helicopter that crashed this morning in Suva harbour.
Police spokesperson, Ema Mua, has confirmed with Radio New Zealand International that the pilot was alone.
Two helicopters left Nadi this morning; the second helicopter made it.
It is still unclear how exactly communications for the pilot's rescue were made or why were they flying into Suva as the country has been experiencing bad weather.
The plane crashed at around 7 this morning.
