Nauru goes to the polls today for the second time in eight months.
The Government called a snap election eight days ago saying it was the only way to resolve a weeks long deadlock in the Parliament.
President Marcus Stephen says his main hope is that a government with a clear mandate emerges.
65 candidates are contesting the 18 seats.
