Fiji Interim PM talks to Korean corporates

Fiji's interim Prime Minister has met visiting officials from the Sydney-based corporation Daewoo International of Korea.

Commodore Frank Bainimarama was very honoured to have met Daewoo, which is one of Korea's largest corporations.

On a recent trip to Dubai, the military leader met several Korean investors.

The business officials are eying Fiji as a potential investment destination in sectors ranging from manufacturing to financial services.

Commodore Bainimarama, who says Fiji is still an attractive international investment option, discussed a potential Loan scheme with Daewoo.

The company is also interested in potential investment opportunities in the mining and resource sector.
