Two police accounts officials facing charges of theft as a servant, forgery, and altering accounts, are to stand trial in the Samoa Supreme Court in November.

The two former principal accounts officers of the Ministry of Police and Prisons, Taylor Miti, and Mata'u Milosia, entered not guilty pleas at a preliminary hearing yesterday.

The pair were charged after a police investigation early this year into the alleged misappropriation of more than 150 thousand US dollars from the ministry.
