The tally of business and individual donations collected so far by American Samoa's Arts Festival Committee has reached 174 thousand dollars.
This figure does not include the $50,000 donation from the Bank of Hawaii which will be transferred to the festival account any day now.
A report on the finances for the festival was presented by the Committee co chair Fagafaga Daniel Langkilde on television last night.
Fagafaga said that many more donors have made in kind contributions.
Individual donors have provided $2,300 - a single donor contributing half of that amount.
The festival budget is just over $4 million, with the American Samoa government providing 2 and a half million of that figure.
