The Prime Minister of Solomon Islands says his government is committed to opening up the nickel exploration in Isabel Province.
Dr Derek Sikua is currently on a trip touring various communities of Isabel, starting from the provincial capital Buala
The Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation quotes Dr Sikua as saying the nickel investment is a potential investment opportunity for the people of Isabel and Solomon Islands at large.
He says the visit to the area is to give him an idea of what is happening on the ground.
