The police in Samoa have recently deported a Vanuatu man after an unsuccessful move to con the country's Central Bank and the Prime Minister, Tuila'epa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi.
The Governor of Samoa's Central Bank, Leasi Papalii Tommy Scanlan, says the authorities launched an investigation after the prime minister received a letter from the alleged con-man.
In the letter, according to the central Bank Governor on SBC TV, the man asked the prime minister for any project that could be done on his 300 million US dollars kept in a Bank in Asia.
However, the authorities in Vanuatu were contacted and they requested the man be deported to answer several criminal charges in his home country.
