Fiji Police say they may need overseas help to solve deaths threats against diplomat

The Fiji police say they may require overseas help to investigate the three death threats made against the Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, James Batley.

The Fiji Times quotes the police as saying that they do not have the necessary resources to carry out an investigation.

The Police Commissioner, Esala Teleni, says it is still unclear to police where the letters containing the threats came from, and he says his officers have also struggled to take finger-prints off the typed letters.

Earlier, Police spokesperson Ema Mua had said that police had strong leads from the third delivery
