The first in the series of regional officials' meetings held in preparation for next month Pacific Islands Forum Leaders meeting in Niue is being held in Fiji this week.
The meeting involves the Pacific Plan Action Committee which is made up of senior government representatives from the 16 Forum countries, associate Forum members, and members of the Council of Regional Organisations in the Pacific, or CROP agencies.
The Committee's activities will include a look at progress in implementing the Pacific Plan and efforts to support greater regional cooperation and integration.
