The official closing ceremony of the 10th Pacific Festival of the Arts in American Samoa is to be held on Wednesday.
The festival is to run until August the 2nd but the closing is set for July teh 30th.
Leilani Momoisea reports.
"The Festival organising committee says the closing is on the Wednesday because some of the delegations are leaving before the second of August. It says it was the Governor of American Samoa, Togiola Tulafono, who made the decision to have the official closing early. This leaves the rest of the delegations free to do village visitations for the remaining days. The village is to remain open as usual. It is expected Governor Tulafono will be unable to attend the closing ceremony as he is due to leave for Tonga on Tuesday."
