The President of Fiji's National Olympic Committee has dispelled reports that they will pull their athletes out of the Beijing Olympics if the pollution is too bad.

Concerns have been raised by many countries about the level of pollution in Beijing and the health affects on their athletes.

Vidya Lakhan explains the Fiji situation.

"What I said was if the weather deteriorates then we'll get medical advice then there will be a collective decision made, but we have not said we will pull our athletes out"

Vidya Lakhan says the decision to pullout will be left to the athletes.
