The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester will be visiting Solomon Islands as part of the country's 30th Independence Anniversary.
Solomon Islands had its official independence day more than three weeks ago.
The British visitors have been in the Pacific for the coronation in Tonga.
The Solomons Commissioner of Police, Peter Marshall says the visit will be a significant event.
"It's going to be a very good affair. It's a great celebration and an opportunity for the people of Solomon Islands. The Duke and Duchess of course were here back in 1978. They haven't visited Solomon Islands for 30 years."
