The Federal Aviation Administration is providing US$105.6 million to fund 37 ongoing CNMI airport projects.
The Marianas Variety newspaper reports that these projects are for the improvement, expansion, procurement of equipment, and rehabilitation of the airports on the islands of Saipan, Tinian and Rota .
Saipan will receive the most -- US$67.9 million for 20 projects.
Tinian will get US$20.1 million for nine projects while Rota is the recipient of US$17.5 million for eight projects.
