December the 2nd has been set as the date for the launch of Pacific Blue's direct flights from Brisbane to the Solomon Islands capital, Honiara.
The Australian-based carrier will fly the route twice a week.
Promotional fares are being offered this week.
The launch of the service follows Pacific Blue's recent expansion to offering flights to Papua New Guinea.
