The price of fuel is being lowered in Fiji today.
Fiji's price regulator Prices and Incomes Board has confirmed further reductions in the wholesale and retail prices of motor spirit, diesel, premix outboard fuel and kerosene.
They will decrease by 11 cents, 26 cents, 12 cents and 19 cents respectively.
Fijilive reports the board as saying the drop in oil prices reflects concerns that the financial crisis in the United States and Europe would lead to a global slowdown and a drop in demand for oil.
