Miss Niue, 23-year old Vanessa Marsh, has been crowned Miss South Pacific
2008/2009 at the 22nd Miss South Pacific Pageant held in American Samoa.
Miss Marsh, a Fisheries Officer with Niue Fisheries Division, Department of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries, received a cash award of $5,000 and many
gifts, including an additional $2,000 cash from local sponsors.
First runner up for the title was Miss Samoa, second runner up was Miss Cook
Islands and third was Miss Fiji.
Fiji will be host country for next year's Miss South Pacific Pageant.
