A union in Fiji is expressing concern over the interim Government's plan to go ahead with public service reforms without consulting unions.
The reforms will see the loss of more than 1,300 jobs from next year.
Fijilive says it's been confirmed that this will save the Government 11 million US dollars, which it hopes to pour into areas such as capital works and the private sector.
But the Fijian Teachers Association says the Public Service Commission and the union have not met this year yet the interim Government is determined on reforming the public service.
