Fiji Television has recorded a net profit of 1.5 million US dollars a better performance from its figure of 477,817 US dollars last year.
Fiji Times reports the company chairman, Isoa Kaloumaira, was pleased with the performance achieved against numerous challenges.
Overall, the Fiji TV Group experienced an increase in revenue from 13.6 million in 2007 and almost 15 million dollars in 2008.
Sky Pacific experienced one of the notable growths with subscription increasing from countries such as Tonga, Kiribati, Samoa and Cook Islands.
