A boutique style casino is due to be opened in Vanuatu's capital, Port Vila, in February next year, during Chinese New Year celebrations.
The Jupiters Vanuatu Casino will be located at the Sebel Hotel on the waterfront.
The Daily Post reports the chief operating officer of Grand Holdings, Bernard Millman, saying it will take hospitality and the gaming industry in the South Pacific to a new level.
He says the entertainment venue will fill every citizen of Port Vila with pride.
And he says tourists will be amazed at the classic interior design of the gaming areas that would be the envy of casino moguls in Las Vegas.
Mr Millman says the youth of Vanuatu will now have the opportunity to be trained as professional dealers, cashiers, slot attendants, as security and in every aspect of the casino's operations.
