Lawmakers in American Samoa will hold a joint hearing on Thursday to hear about the American Samoa Power Authority's rate study.
Draft findings of ASPA's comprehensive rates study for electric, water, wastewater and solid waste rates will be the subject of the meeting.
The purpose of the study is to provide information on setting a rate policy to recover sufficient revenues to fund and capitalize obligations, while minimizing the impact on ratepayers.
