Fiji's Attorney-General and Acting Ministry for Industry, Tourism, Trade and Communications has praised a company that will be creating 3000 jobs over a two-year period, after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding yesterday.

Mindpearl Ltd is a Cayman-based ICT call centre business that will be setting up its call centre in Fiji.

Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyu said the interim government was excited and would do its best to facilitate such business ventures coming to Fiji.

Mindpearl Chief Executive Officer, William Pattison, says the company expected to start recruiting school leavers for the company's operations in the next few months.
