Leading Fiji lawyer sought over unpaid court costs

7:35 pm on 9 February 2009

The Fiji Solicitor General is seeking the payment of court costs from the President of the Fiji Law Society, Dorsami Naidu.

In a statement Christopher Pryde says court costs of 6 thousand 6 hundred US dollars plus interest and enforcement costs are sought.

He says Mr Naidu had been given until last Friday afternoon to make payment.

But no payment had been made by late Monday and Mr Pryde says they would leave no stone unturned to recover the money owed by Mr Naidu.
