The only gold mining company in Solomon Islands is being accused of worker abuse and being careless with cyanide.
The former workers who are members of the Solomon Islands National Union of Workers made the claims in a press conference over the weekend in Honiara.
These accusations are among numerous setbacks the company has experienced since reviving its operations in the country in 2007.
This lastest incident has forced the company to delay the start of its gold production process.
The workers made their allegations through their union body.
