The Samoa government is currently negotiating through the Tourism Authority with representatives of a commercial television network in America over the possibility of having one of its popular TV series filmed in Samoa around June.

The TV Company is expected to make public the outcome of negotiations in May

however the name of the series won't be disclosed until they make the official announcement.

But if Samoa is the next location for the unnamed popular series, it is expected to inject millions of dollars into the local economy and could create as many as 150 temporary jobs for locals.

A source says nineteen installments of the series are expected to be filmed in Samoa within three months with a cast of 250 from overseas to take part.
