Hawaiian Airlines is adding a third weekly flight between Honolulu and Pago Pago beginning June 16.
The additional flight is for the busy summer traveling period.
Hawaiian Air currently operates two flights per week between Honolulu and Pago Pago on Sundays and Thursdays.
The third flight will operate on Tuesdays. The last third weekly flight will be on August.
Church conferences held in the territory, returning students and family reunions planned for the June to August period are the main reasons for increased traffic on the Honolulu Pago Pago route.
